My Mural!

WALT: combine pior and new knowledge to come up with new ideas

In our reading group we have been reading a passage called "watch this space." It is about a big wall which is plain and grey and kids draw their ideas on a piece of paper and a artist paints their ideas on the wall.

So our activity was to make our OWN mural which is like a design on a wall. So we could make anything like a pattern. And we also had to make a flowchart on how to do it, and what you will need!
Something I found diffcult was thinking of what to draw but then I just added shapes and stuff and it turned out to this!
I really enjoyed making it because you could add anything and you could be creative about it.

This is my Mural!

  1. Kia ora Fria, I really like how you designed your own mural and you made your flowchart short but interesting for the reader to read it. I also like how you described what you were reading and what you had to do. Maybe you could actually make you flowchart a bit longer but still interesting for the reader to read it. Overall Ka Pai!:)

  2. Hey Fria,

I like how you made your Mural with you flow-chart, one thing that was really amazing is you made your Mural look like an actual Mural.

Maybe next time you could work on is adding more information about the flow-chart, like 4- text boxes.

    Good work, keep it up

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
